PULMUR started as a coffee supplier to cafés, hotels and corporate spaces around Malaysia. We've been roasting since before most people on Shopee knew what a roast date was.
The move to selling direct wasn't a business decision. It was a frustration.
Every time someone told us “I don't really like specialty coffee — it's too sour,” we knew they just hadn't had the right cup. They'd tried light roasts that were never built for the Malaysian palate. Or stale supermarket beans with no roast date. Or 3-in-1 sachets that haven't changed in 20 years.
So we built PULMUR for the everyday Malaysian coffee drinker. Not for the enthusiast who can tell you the altitude of every farm — for the person who just wants a cup that's wangi, smooth, strong enough to matter, and not RM5.50 at a mall café every morning.
